Just wanted to give a quick recap of this month's event after the break!
We had a pretty good turn out this month with 18 people showing up! With that you can see the pairings and leader board on Torrent of Fire here: http://app.torrentoffire.com/#/tournament/Huzzah-August-2015First up some pictures. Like normal I spaced on round one for the pictures, but I did remember to get round 2 and 3.

So like last time I tried to do NOVA prizes. The Prize breakdown was Battlemaster (most battle points) and 1st place (best win/loss) received the same amount of prize support. We then had 2nd and 3rd place (best win/loss with BPs as tie breaker), Middle of the Pack and then Smoking Boots. What's great is we had a tie for 1st and Battlemaster. As two players both went 3-0 with the same amount of BPs (57). Then we had a tie for Smoking Boots, two players going 0-3 with the same amount of BPs (18).
The Prize Breakdown:
- Battlemaster - James McGee
- 1st Place - Chris Shelton
- 2nd Place - Mike Vagenos
- 3rd Place - Andrew Gonyo
- Middle of the Pack - Justin Cox
And ITC points earned:

So a big THANK YOU for coming out and participating in the monthly RTT! Our next RTT has been scheduled for September 19th, we're going to be doing Battle for Salvation format for the next one. They haven't finalized it yet, but once they do I'll make a post about it and let you all know. Also if you're in the Richmond area and want some practice for Mechanicon, I'd suggest heading over to the River City 40k webpage. I believe their tournament is also on the 19th. Unfortunately a Magic pre-release has caused us to be pushed back onto the same weekend as their tournament. Regardless both events will be great and hopefully you can make it out to one of them!
Oh and before I forget, don't forget to join us on Huzzah Hobbies' Google Group. We've got a GREAT narrative campaign up and running. And best news is you don't have to play at Huzzah to participate in it! But we highly encourage you to join us on Friday 40k Night up at Huzzah!
Hopefully I'll see you on a Friday night or at an RTT!
